Ichor Music is a project founded by multi-instrumentalist Eli Wyatt, 22. Drawing inspiration from the last few years spent living between the French alps, Cornwall UK, and Vancouver CA, Ichor Music's debut album, Entropy, not only reflects the journey through these physical spaces, but through the emotional spectrum which accompanies any movement in life. The album voyages through stills of peace and storms of doubt. The word 'Entropy' encapsulates everything - a constant flow from order to disorder. The song 'Entropy' is centrepiece of the album, a representation of the coming to terms with this directional movement, that everything will succumb to disorder.
And yet there is hope also, in the strive for purpose when faced with endlessly cascading time. Ichor Music uses pianos, banjos, guitars, drums, violins, brass, all enriched with fragile vocals to create these atmospheric, ambient skylines of sound.
Ichor music does not strive to produce ultra-professional music, but rather seeks to provide an emotional outlet, an expression of memory and experience.
The music is entirely written, produced, performed, recorded (with a few friends donning violins) and mixed by Eli with a mindset that music is a constant work in progress.
